My Sophmore Year

This year was my first year attending Atrisco Heritage at first I was kind of nervous to come here because I didn’t think I was going to know anyone here but then I met some new friend and I found out I knew a lot of people I had some of my friends that I knew since kindergarten and some from middle school so I wasn’t alone when I first started coming here. The last school I came from was West Mesa I had a pretty fun year there but I knew if I would have stayed there I would have probably got into some trouble or started doing bad things or not even go to school but then I heard about Atrisco and how it was a new school with new people. I also heard about the football team that was one of the big reasons why I started coming here to because I had played for west Mesa and we didn’t even win one game out of the whole year I think it was because most of the players didn’t play as a team people where just doing their own thing. When I first started my summer training with my new team it was pretty hard then more guys from west mesa started showing up to the practices so I was with people I already knew. I met some new coaches who really cared for us and always told us to do are best and good things would come back are team record was 5-3 that’s pretty good from coming from a team that didn’t win no games so that made my year a lot better. I have gotten way stronger then how I was as a freshman all my teachers have told coaches that the football players are looking good. I have to say so myself I have improved in everything I done by coming here the way I do my work the way I hang out with my friends the way I workout. I think the teachers here are pretty cool better than last year because they really care if we pass all my teachers are cool I have learned more here than most schools. I think the best teachers I had all year would have to be my coaches because every single one of them is always on my case making sure I have grades to play always pushing me to the max making sure we have a good head on are shoulders. So I had a really good year here I don’t think I ever had to go to the office because I got in trouble maybe like once for not having an Id, I’m proud of myself to for not getting into any fights over stupid things and getting be hide on work because I don’t want to fall be hide and not graduate on time with my class in 2012. I think I am going to stay here and make history be the first class to graduate at this school! I’m going to inspire more people to come here because what they got going is a good program..! Well I think I’m done here so I hope everyone that reads this has a good and fun summer you to Mr. Leh remember party party and those football players see you on the field and new coming freshmen good luck during are training peace…!!!

Anything Is Possible

The one thing I always talk to my friends about is are first year of varsity football here at Atrisco. I’ve been playing sports for a long time but I’ve always been more dedicated to football then anything but lately I have been slacking in some of my classes so now I have a new challenge to stay more focused on school work just like I am with my sports. If I keep up on all my work I wouldn’t be having to be going to night school or after school programs I could just be going to the gym or outside training for the season. Now that the school year is coming to a end I brought up a 40% in Spanish to now a low C in one day so imagine if I would stay focused all through the year id be good. This year of football will be way different then the past years I’ve played its going to be more intense I could already feel some hard times coming up but I know my team will pull through just like we did last season at JV It’s funny how I came from a team who won no games to a new team that went 5-3. Since I transferred from west mesa I got way stronger then how I was and now my goal is to be the best I can for myself and my team. I can’t wait till we play on Friday nights with the whole school in the stands and being next to all the other players with are golden helmets waiting to win are opponents. I been waiting for this time since I was in yafle all the coaches I have ever had have told me I’m gonna be one hella varsity player by the time I’m older and here I am now so I’m gonna work extra hard to show everyone what I’m about the real me when I’m out on the green . I’ll be known different at this school everyone will know me by David beastly football player ha-ha cus of all the hard work I’m about to bring out this season people tell us were not going to be good cus its are first year varsity but I know for sure I aint going to let some guy that’s older them me be better than me ill be a junior knocking down some seniors

twlight

Dear summit entertainment I am thinking writing a new plot for a new series of twlight. In this new episode there would be some new faces that the fans would like to see and also most of the original cast would stay in the story as well, I am going to be talking about Edward and bella. So the stories going to go like this one night Edward and Bella decide to go for a walk together the evening was perfect so far then they run into this man walking passed them he had the weirdest look on his face then he looks at bella and smiles and keeps walking. Edward ask bella if she knew who that man was and she reply’s back yes his name is derrick she had met him some years back. So the night went on and bella was saying that she was felling tired so she wanted to go home and then Edward said ok ill head you home well they were leaving they both had noticed that derrick was walking toward then and he tell bella hey how’s it going I haven’t seen you in a long time., bella said pretty good just been hanging out then she introduced

Bravery

I’m going to tell you the story on how I experience bravery at an AHA football game. The score was 35 us and Valley 6 are team had a great game that day. At the start on the game I thought we were going to get killed because they were at a varsity level team and my team was barley a JV team. The Vikings players had some huge dudes but after we scored that first touchdown the team was so pumped then we got the extra point. We the Jaguars lined up to kick off the ball but instead we went for a squib which is an on-side kick we recovered so all us on defense did are job, so then are offence went on the field and stared blowing up on their defense the play we ran next was a run up the middle and there line completely blocked it then one of the running backs got the ball stripped and valley recovered so know the defense team comes out on the field I was on my starting positions is a defense of end I was waiting for the ball to be snapped to get my outside contain I knew I was going to be going up agents someone bigger than me but I just said oh well I don’t want to live my life being a wish, could, should of.

My 10 Quotes

"Football is, after all, a wonderful way to get rid of your aggressions without going to jail for it."

"Anyway, no drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we're looking for the source of our troubles, we shouldn't test people for drugs, we should test them for stupidity, ignorance, greed and love of power."(O'Rourke P.J.)

"Without music life would be a mistake." (Wilhelm Nietzsche Friedrich)

"The night before I left Las Vegas I walked out in the desert to look at the moon. There was a jeweled city on the horizon, spires rising in the night, but the jewels were diadems of electric and the spires were the neon of signs ten stories high". (Mailer Norman)

I pick this painting because it really cought my eyes,

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,

With conquering limbs astride from land to land;

Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand

A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame

Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name

Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand

Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command

The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she

With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

By Emma Lazarus

I think the poem is talking about being free and wanting people to come to America to start fresh!!! I also find this poem some what confusing, its confusing because the statue is supposed to stand for freedom, but if that was true, why would the goverment build a wall between Mexico and the United States.?

The torch represnts a shining light to help show immigrants

Save the Tigers

"The number of tigers across the world has declined by 95% in the past century, and three subspecies have become extinct, including the two others native to Indonesia - the Bali tiger and the Java tiger, which was seen in the wild as late as the 1970s. With fewer than 400 of the creatures estimated to be left in the wild, the Sumatran tiger is classified as critically endangered, the most vulnerable of all the six surviving tiger subspecies.

Tigers are hunted for skins as well as body parts such as bones, which are ground up and used as traditional medicine in some areas of Asia. Another major pressure this species face is the illegal logging by paper companies, which has eliminated more than 1.2 million acres of tiger habitat since 1998 - at least four tigers, and nine people, have been killed in the past month alone, as the shrinking of Sumatra's already depleted forests brings an increase in attacks on farmers, hunters and illegal loggers."
